Morris & Morris Funerals is proud to now be supporting families from our Waipū location, bringing more than 80 years of experience, compassion and personalised funeral care closer to families in the local community.
Since 1944, Morris & Morris has supported generations of families throughout Northland. Opening in Waipū was a natural next step, giving families in the area a trusted place close to home where they can meet with qualified and experienced funeral professionals, ask questions and receive guidance when they need it most.
Our team understands that arranging a funeral can feel overwhelming. That's why we take the time to listen, explain the choices available and help make the process as simple and reassuring as possible. Whether a family is arranging a funeral following the passing of someone they love, considering pre-planning or simply looking for information, we're here to provide practical guidance and genuine support.

One of the strengths of Morris & Morris is the people behind our name. Our team members have come to the funeral profession from a wide range of careers and life experiences. Those different backgrounds have developed valuable skills in listening, communication, problem-solving and supporting people through challenging situations. We believe this makes our team approachable and relatable. Families aren't simply meeting experienced funeral directors. They're meeting compassionate people who understand the importance of kindness, empathy and treating every family as individuals.
Every life is different, and we believe every farewell should be too. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we take the time to understand the person being honoured, their story and what matters most to the people who love them. We then help families create a meaningful farewell that reflects those wishes with dignity and care. Our Waipū location allows Morris & Morris to be more accessible to families in this part of Northland while providing the same personalised care and professional support we have been known for across generations.
