At Morris & Morris, our Whangārei funeral home has been thoughtfully refurbished in 2024 to offer a comforting and modern environment for families to farewell their loved ones.
Every detail of our facility has been designed with care, ensuring that the experience is as seamless and supportive as possible during a difficult time.
Our state-of-the-art chapel is one of the largest in Northland, comfortably seating over 300 people. It features three high-definition TVs for displaying photographic tributes and live feeds from family and friends who are unable to attend in person. The chapel is fully equipped with the latest audio-visual technology, offering professional livestreaming and onsite recording to ensure every memory is captured and shared with dignity.
In addition to our main chapel, we also offer a smaller, more intimate family chapel for private services. Families can choose the setting that best suits their needs and preferences.
Our warm and welcoming reception lounge includes full catering facilities, creating a peaceful space to gather and share memories following a service.
We also provide two private arrangement rooms and two beautifully appointed viewing rooms, offering a sense of privacy and calm for those important moments of reflection and planning. Our modern mortuary facilities ensure respectful and professional care for your loved one at all times.
